I have had the pleasure of doing a review for an incredible product. This is a subscription box from Sunlite Snacks. This is not like other subscription boxes where you pay a large monthly fee and get a few tiny samples of sub-par products in return.

I received my Sunlite Snacks box very quickly, within just a few days. When I opened it, I was delighted to find these five full-sized healthy snacks inside.

Keep in mind, that every month there are different products in the box. The box I received was the September box, and these were the products I received:

  • Oatsy Cakes
  • Vanilla Chai Almonds
  • Crispy Rice Cracker with Nuts
  • Go Nuts Mix
  • Very Berry

The first thing we tried were the Oatsy Cakes. I really didn’t know what to expect from these, but quickly realized that I LOVED them. I was very pleasantly surprised. They were very soft and cakey, and were like thick oatmeal cookies with a subtle sweetness from honey, coconut, apricots, and sunflower seeds. They were delicious, but they tasted “healthy” at the same time. Does that make sense? All I know is I want more.

Next I tried the Vanilla Chai Almonds. I love almonds, and knew I was going to love these. They smelled incredible. And when I tasted them, they reminded me of the cinnamon almonds I buy at the NY State Fair every year. I don’t think these had cinnamon in them, but they were still so good! I’d like a ten pound bucket of these bad boys please.

Next I tried the Crispy Rice Crackers with Nuts. I actually thought that I wouldn’t care for these, but found myself eating almost the entire bag in a matter of minutes. I liked them because I’ve never heard of them, and had never tried them before, and they had so many different flavors in them. I’ve always been curious about wasabi but had never tried it. And to my surprise, I liked it! Most of the items in this bag had the crisp rice cracker coating on it. There were also soybeans and sesame sticks in this bag, and they were all delicious. Some pieces were just the crispy rice crackers and they were very flavorful. I could easily eat those in place of potato chips, and they are so much healthier.

This bag was the “Very Berry”. I knew instantly that I would love these, because I love ALL berries. I never met a berry I didn’t love :) And these were dried berries, which might even be better. There were cranberries, blueberries, cherries and raisins. They were all sweet, soft, and packed with flavor. I ate them right out of the bag, but I’m thinking these would be great on cereal or with granola, too!

Last I tried the Go Nuts mix. I’m not a HUGE nut lover, but there are some nuts that I love. This bag had an assortment of all kinds of nuts. Some that I had even forgotten that I liked! Like filberts. Filberts aren’t a nut you see a lot in the stores (at least not around here), so this was a nice treat. There were also cashews, peanuts, almonds and brazil nuts. Brazil nuts were the only nuts in this bag that I didn’t care for, but my boyfriend loves all kinds of nuts, so he was happy to eat them. (Don’t worry, I shared all my other goodies with him too)

I was SO impressed with the quality of these snacks! If I hadn’t tried them myself I would have wondered if they were like so many other subscription boxes out there that aren’t worth the money. But I have to say, these are totally worth it! Other subscription boxes charge $19.99/month and like I said, you get really sub-par sample sized products. But you can subscribe to Sunlite Snacks for just $17.95 a month (with FREE shipping), and you get at least five full-sized snacks, which is about 15-20 servings of healthy snacks.

All Sunlite Snacks contain:

NO high fructose corn syrup
NO artificial ingredients
NO trans fats
NO artifical colors or preservatives

Want to give it a try? Like I said, you can subscribe for $17.95/month, but if you don’t want to do a monthly subscription, you can order just one box at a time. Use coupon code “Sunhealth” to and you can get your first box for just $13.95 with FREE shipping! They also offer the family snacker plan for $29/month and you get 10 full sized bags per month, or you can get the party snacker for $41.25 per month, and you get 15 full sized bags in that plan.

You can even gift these to someone! Remember, it’s not too early to be thinking about the upcoming holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas!

And I want to point out that these products are made right here in the USA!! They are distributed and made right in California, and is a family business. This is very important to me, since my mom found herself near death by being poisoned from an herb she bought from a seller in China, off of Amazon. She was in ICU for 7 days and just came home a few days ago.

So… would you like to WIN a box of your own? Because the very generous owner of Sunlite Snacks, Marlene, is offering two boxes to my readers! Yes, that means two of you will win a box of their very own! This giveaway is open to US residents, and will run through 10/1. Which means you will be getting the October box! (But if you want the exact box I received, you can still order it, they are shipping the September box until the 27th!) Just fill out the Rafflecopter entry form below. Good luck to everyone!!
